SwiphtBrowser - Terms of Use

The app

SwiphtBrowser is a text-only website reader. It is designed to fetch web pages you choose, extract readable text, links, and simple form metadata, and present a quiet document view. It is not intended to reproduce every behavior of a general-purpose browser, website, media player, download manager, or automation tool.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the URLs you open, the information you submit through web forms, and your compliance with applicable laws and website terms. Do not use SwiphtBrowser to access, submit, copy, or distribute content in a way that violates law, infringes rights, bypasses access controls, disrupts services, or harms others.

Subscriptions

Some builds require an active SwiphtBrowser Access subscription to load pages. Direct GNU/Linux and Windows builds are distributed only from swiphtgroup.com and require online entitlement verification before browsing. Direct subscriptions include a one-month trial, then renew at US$0.99/month or US$2.99/year unless canceled. Keep your restore key so you can restore access on another install.

Third-party websites

SwiphtBrowser loads third-party websites at your direction. JohnThre does not control those websites, their content, their privacy practices, their availability, or how they respond to a text-only reader. Website content may be inaccurate, offensive, unsafe, unlawful, unavailable, or unsuitable for your needs.

Intellectual property

SwiphtBrowser and these website pages are proprietary to JohnThre and are protected by copyright and other laws. No permission is granted to copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from SwiphtBrowser except where mandatory law gives you a right that cannot be waived or where JohnThre gives written permission.

Updates and availability

SwiphtBrowser may change over time. Features, platform support, prices, and release timing may be modified, suspended, or discontinued. The app may not work with every website, network, device, operating system version, store account, or subscription state.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

SwiphtBrowser is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. JohnThre disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, uninterrupted operation, and error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JohnThre will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, device issues, or third-party website behavior arising from or related to SwiphtBrowser.
